    Minor Racer Information
    Requirements for Riders Under 18

Our insurance carrier, and common sense require a parent or legal guardian to sign up a minor rider. For legal purposes, we need a liability release and a minor release form filled out by your parent(s). For safety’s sake, you need your parent(s) with you in case you're hurt and need medical treatment.

If your parent can’t come with you, there is a way to ride, but you should be prepared before coming to the track. You need to bring two (2) copies of a notarized permission note from your parent. One for us to keep and one to take to the hospital with you in case of an emergency.

Here's a generic version of what the note should say:
"My son Joe Smith has my permission to ride Supercross at Bay Racing’s Supercross at the ________ Fair on _____ day of______, 2005. In addition, I give permission to Sam Johnson (an adult] to sign all liability, release and registration forms at the track and to give consent for medical treatment of Joe Smith if needed."

    ___________________Parent or Legal Guardian Signature
    ___________________Notary Public Signature and Seal

In the example, Sam Johnson is someone 18 or over who will be at the track with you all day.

Please don’t make us turn you away because you did not bring the proper forms. We hate to disappoint any rider, but your safety is our first concern.
